David started his new position as a correctional officer with Peoria County which is quite an adjustment for the new daddy and his family. | |  | Within days of our return from the states, we welcomed a team from Paxton, IL. We are very thankful to our supporting churches that invest in sending people from their church to actively be a part of the ministries that they support with their finances and prayers.

| | |  | One of our most Frequently Asked Questions is, "What do you do when teams are not here?" - The first couple of days, we rest & reflect! Taking time to process all that God has done and have a debrief time with the Satura Coordinator.
- Then we catch up on being "gone" for a week with the team. You know the fun things like laundry, housework, financial reports, emails, etc.
- We are always preparing for the next teams. Some of this includes: visiting pastors & churches, calculating team and evangelism material costs, hosting translator events, money exchanges, preparing and sending team welcome emails with church profiles, ordering and paying for bibles for distribution, making hotel reservations and paying deposits for hotels, reserving and paying for team transportation, tourism, scheduling translators, etc.
- We try to stay connected with family, friends, headquarters and supporters with phone calls and updates.
Before we know it, we're on a bus to the airport again to receive the next team. | | | | | | | | |
