Happy Easter

Dear Prayer Warriors,

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; John 11:25

A couple of weeks ago, we attended a chapel service at One Mission Society headquarters that took some time to reflect back on the OMS founders. It was a special time of remembering OMS history and the heritage that we have been a part of for 18 years. It was during this chapel service, that we were introduced to a Hebrew view of time that is quite different from our perspective of time. It's called, walking into the future facing backwards. We've included the video that explains it quite well.

This Hebrew concept of time has helped us keep our eyes on God, His love for us and His plan of salvation for all of us during this glorious time of Easter. It would be so easy to get caught up in what to wear on Easter Sunday, what food to prepare for Easter dinner, when and where to hide Easter eggs for the grandchildren, and on and on the preparations go. But when you're constantly looking at what Jesus did on the cross for us, it's impossible to take your eyes off of Jesus as you move forward to Easter Sunday or into the future.

We never want to forget that we are sinners in need of a SAVIOR and we live in and with His resurrection power. It would be hard to forget that, as He's always in front of us as we walk backwards into the future.

Thank you for your faithful prayer support to us. We're so grateful!

Easter blessings,
Doug and Cindy

Here's a much better explanation of seeing God's faithfulness by
walking into the future backwards.
International Team to
OMS Camp Rock of Horeb in Spain
April 13-21

For more than 2 years, we have prayed and prepared for this international team consisting of:
11 Albanians
2 Canadians
3 Colombians
4 Americans
1 Scot
1 New Zealender

For many of the Albanians, this will be their first overseas mission trip. It's our prayer that this will be the catalyst for Men For Missions in Albania, and will truly be "Their Life Changing Journey".

We will work together to help with maintenance projects around the camp. In the evenings, we plan to have a time of sharing about MFM and OMS ministries, testimonies and discuss opportunities from each of the regions represented. Of course we will also have fun activities for building relationships, including eating M&M's and drinking coffee.

Please pray for our safety as we continue to build relationships with one another.

Mexico
Kids at the Casa
November 16-23

We've only heard about the amazing fruit from the Kids at the Casa ministry and now Cindy has the opportunity to see and participate in serving the precious children at the Casa.
Are you a closet organizer? No, we don't mean that you're hiding your plethora of organizational skills. Do you actually like to organize closets? If so, please pray about joining Cindy on this team as she will be unpacking and organizing bags of donated clothing items for the kids. Maybe you're not a closet organizer, but if you would love to come and serve Kids at the Casa, we'd love for you to join the team, too.
SHEEP
(Click picture for video)

The Southern Haiti Evangelism and Education Program (SHEEP) is a child sponsorship ministry working directly with the OMS-related Emmaus Fellowship of Churches in southern Haiti. The goal of the ministry is to share the Gospel and give children a Christian education, while equipping these students to become leaders in the church and to multiply believers throughout their communities in Haiti. Our sponsored children receive tuition, books, and supplies through your sponsorship. Sponsorship is just $25 per month. You really can make a difference . . . one child at a time. We have students waiting to be sponsored. If you would like to be matched with a sponsored child, please email us at sheep@onemissionsociety.org

Please consider giving a financial gift to the Feeding Program. You can mail a check to Men for Missions with project # 408188 in the memo line or give online
Here's our current 2024 team list.
Will you consider praying for each team?
Please pray for team leaders and members, too!
