Tankersley Praise & Prayer Update View this email in your browser Cuban Pastors Memorial On May 18, 2018, more than 110 Cubans were killed in an airplane crash. Sadly, 20 on board this Air Cubana flight were Cuban pastors and leaders with whom One Mission Society has partnered with over the past two decades. They all passed away from the crash. Ten children, ranging from ages 7 to 15 years old, along with several adult children, are now without parents, and a whole denomination of churches is without leaders. Working closely with trusted Cuban leaders, OMS has developed a plan to come alongside these devastated families, just-orphaned children, and the local churches who have lost their pastors and leaders. Will you join us in extending a helping hand to our brothers and sisters in Cuba by providing financial support for the following? Funeral costs Children and family member immediate needs Rebuilding and training new leadership teams Your act of love will make a difference in the lives of those who are desperately hurting because of this tragedy in Cuba. Pray for God to shower his abundant mercy, peace and love on these        children and churches.  Men For Missions Staff Meetings We enjoyed a couple of days at beautiful Camp Allendale with our USA MFM staff.  We spent several sessions focusing on the vision and mission of MFM.  We are so blessed to be a part of this ministry and walk this journey with so many amazing people. We were reminded daily that leaders touch a heart before they ask for a hand.  Please pray for us as we move forward in our new role as MFM directors of Latin America.  Trip to Cuba - June 4 - 7 You may recall that last September our trip to Cuba was postponed due to Hurricane Irma. It's been rescheduled and we are looking forward to meeting with Allen, MFM Cuba director, and some leaders that want to hear more about Men For Missions - Cuba.  Pray that the Holy Spirit will open our eyes to the greatest needs in Cuba and give us His vision for this great country.  Registration is now open and discounted before May 30. We welcome you to join us for the national conference of One Mission Society.  This is a great place to hear what God is doing around the world.  There will be many opportunities at the conference for you to reunite with Men For Missions and those that have been on short term trips, but we'd like to personally invite you to the MFM Reunion Dinner on Friday night at 5:30.  Hope to see you all there!  We're so thankful for every opportunity that we've been given to reconnect with our family.  The most recent celebration was Jude turning one year old.  Thank you for praying for our family!!!  1.  Praising the Lord for His protection as we continue to travel.  12,000+ car miles since November.  2.  Praising the Lord for a great women's conference in Iowa. Received another special handkerchief. Thankful for how God speaks to us. 3.  Praising the Lord for the April evangelism team and those that heard the Gospel of Jesus. 4.  Praising the Lord for great MFM Staff meetings. 5.  Pray for our upcoming trip to Cuba on June 4 - 7. 6.  Evangelism team to Sincelejo on June 16 - 23 Vision:  Our goal is the Lordship of Jesus Christ in each person's life, at home and around the world.
