Tankersley Praise & Prayer Update View this email in your browser October 2025 Dear Prayer Warriors, "I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:14 We were recently reminded of a time when we were driving to a missions conference in 2017 after years without owning a car overseas, and we nearly ran out of gas in heavy fog. That tense moment reminded us how essential it is to keep our tank full, not just in travel, but in life. For followers of Christ, our true fuel is the call of God. Unlike fleeting motivation or personal ambition, His call sustains us through uncertainty, equips us for challenges, and directs us toward His purposes. It no different at Men for Missions, where we seek to live and serve with our spiritual tanks full, fueled by obedience to Christ's call. It has been so encouraging to see teams sent from various nations to more than 15 countries this year, each one showing the power of God at work when His people listen and respond. As we press forward, we're reminded of Philippians 3:14: to keep our eyes on the road ahead, trust the One who mapped it, and continue running on the lasting power of His call.   The fuel for ministry is PRAYER! Thank you for your faithful prayer support that not only fuels us but the work that we're called to do. Without the ungirding of prayer, we wouldn't go anywhere! Blessings, Doug & Cindy OMS Camp Peña de Horeb in Spain is celebrating 50 years of service this year and MFM is thrilled to be a part of this celebration and reminisce on the ways we has been able to be a part of this incredible camp ministry for 50 years.  The camp is always in need of teams helping in a variety of maintenance projects to get the camp ready for winter and in the spring to prepare for summer camp season.  After our time in Spain, we will join MFM UK for their cabinet meetings in Belfast, North Ireland. Please pray for the global leadership team as they share mission and vision to a new group of men.   Pray for Alan Russell, MFM National Director for UK. Pray for the Kyle Martin, MFM National Director, and Dave Busch as they lead MFM Canadian Cabinet Meetings on October 31 - November 2. Pray for their desire to build relationships with at least one church in every province and territory.  We'd like you to meet our 4th grandchild/1st granddaughter, Halle Ellen born on September 22. Thank you for praying for Jonathan and Angelique as they start this new journey of parenthood.  1. Praise the Lord for the safe and healthy arrival of our first granddaughter, Halle Ellen. Pray for Jonathan and Angelique's transition with their new little family.  2. Pray as we travel for the Spain Camp celebration. 3.
