Today after school, we were surprised to have a visit from Justino's family. They traveled two days from Zábalo (the jungle) to come and see us. This is the first time that Justino's mother has been to the city of Quito. Justino's dad has been here 3 times. They plan to stay until Sunday.
I don't have much time to write, but please pray for us as we try to bless them and make them feel comfortable. Please pray for their health as all the foods are quite new to them. I plan to take his little sister with me to school tomorrow. Doug will entertain the Mom and Dad. It's Tuesday and 2 for 1 pizza night, so we introduced them to pizza. They seem very content. It's very cold here in comparison to the jungle, so they are now snuggled up in blankets watching TV.In the process of picking the family up from school, Doug was in a little fender bender with the whole jungle family in the car. Please lift this situation up for us. We will only have 3 weeks to deal with issues that may arise.
In the midst of all of this, WE ARE ABSOLUTELY THRILLED that they are here. It has touched our hearts so much.
